Acht Tage Wandern am südlichen Rand der Schwäbischen Alb. Das Obere Donaubergland ist eine grandiose Landschaft. Die Höhen der Alb und seine wenigen Täler haben ihre Reize.
Insbesondere die steilen Auf- und Abstiege im Donaubergland und der Weg über z.T. recht schroffe Felsen hat es in sich.
Die Beschilderung des Weges ist allerdings unter aller Kanone. Schilder sind mehrdeutig angebracht. Auf ganzen Abschnitten fehlen sie sogar vollständig.
Im Donaubergland war im April die spontane Quartiersuche kein Problem. Auf der platten Alb empfiehlt es sich, vorab zu buchen.
