Von dem winzigen auf einem Hügel gelegenen Dorf Bargni wandern wir durch die liebliche Landschaft der Marken mit Wald, Wiesen und Feldern nach Mombaroccio. Dies ist eine kleine befestigte Ortschaft mit circa 2.200 Einwohnern, einem ehemaligen Kloster mit Eiskeller und landwirtschaftlichem Museum. In der Nähe liegt die Wallfahrtskirche Santurario del Beato Sante
