Trasa vyjíždí a končí v Hollensteinu. Po celou dobu je dobře značena. Sestává se ze šotoliny a asfaltu v poměru 1/2 : 1/2. Vede nádhernou krajinou s nesčetnými panoramatickými výhledy na okolí, např. zimní středisko Hochkar. Jedná se o středně náročnou trasu.
This trail begins & finisches in Hollenstein. The trail is well marked all time. Asphalt and stony road are fivety fivety. The whole trail goes thru a beatiful countryside with plenty of panoramatical views, e.g. on winter ressort Hochkar. Sonnbrand Almtour is a middle difficult trail.

Dálnice A1 Wien - Linz, exit Ybbs / Donau, po státní silnici B25 přes Wieselburg, Purgstall, Scheibbs, Gaming, Lunz / See do Göstlingu, kde odbočíme na Hollenstein, kde po 20 km zaparkujeme.
