Test der Teststrecke Rurradweg
Neben der Filmautobahn in Siersdorf hat der Kreis Düren eine zweite Teststrecke, diesmal für Fahrräder, eingerichtet:
Der Rurradweg zwischen Lendersdorf und Merken (Gemeindegrenze Niederzier) wird von der Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung speziell für die Bestätigung der Zweiradsicherheit allen Fahrradfreunden zu Beginn der Zweiradsaison empfohlen:
Wessen "Drahtesel" hier besteht, der hat für den Rest des Jahres ausgesorgt....
Diese Strecke gilt ebenfalls als Referenzstrecke für die Prüfung der Gebisssicherheit (Zahnärztekammer) und Gelenkbeständigkeit bei künstlichen Hüft-, Arm- und sonstigen Gelenken. (Verband der europ. Gelenkchirugen)
Somit hat sich die Arbeit und der Kostenaufwand, - über mehrere Kilometer Querrinnen in die Fahrbahn einzubauen, bereits jetzt gelohnt.
