The tour starts at the Nida plateau tavern (unfinsihed Nida hotel). Follow the E4 trail/unpaved road to the south. In a bend of the jeeptrail take the hiking trail on your right hand (marked with red dots). The trail leads you 300 m up to the Camarion cave.
When you enter the cave bring some headlights with you because the cave surface is very slippery.
At the Kamares cave you can pick up again the E4 trail going straight down in the direction of Kamares.
When you reach a small mountainriver (potable water)the E4 trail splits up. The north trail (right handed) leads to the Kamares gorge and goes further on again to the Nida plateau or mount Ida (Psiloritis).
The south trail (bends left after the waterreservoir)goes down to Kameres via a steep downhill.
Down at Kamares you can follow the E4 hikingtrail to Zaros or follow the paved asphalt road via Vorizia to Zaros.
