Wer sich den Anstieg (ca 500 m) zur Hundalm ersparen will, kann bei N47 33.734 E12 47.071 den Wanderweg 401A nehmen. Der Wanderweg (ca. 2,5 km) ist allerdings mit dem MTB größtenteils nicht befahrbar; man muss das Rad meist schieben bzw. öfters auch tragen.
