Die Wanderung beginnt in Sant' Ambrogio di Valpolicella in der Nähe der Kirche.
Man geht links an der Kirche vorbei, die Straße hinauf, an einem kleinen Hof geht es dann links in einen Feldweg. Ab hier folgt man den Wegweisern bis hinauf nach Cavalo.
