Eine landschaftlich traumhafte Tour durch die Vogesen. Es geht größten Teils auf dem Höhenwanderweg GR5 entlang. Einige Abschnitte sind technisch sehr anspruchsvoll. Teilweise ist schieben notwendig auf sehr verblockten oder ausgesetzten Stellen. Ein Großteil der Strecke geht entlang sehr schmaler flowiger Pfade.
Die Tour startet in Rougemont le Chateau, geht über den Bärenkopf, Ballon Alsace, Grand Ballon, Hundrück, und Rossberg. Übernachtungen sind möglich am Ballon Alsace (Hotel du Sommet) und auf dem Grand Ballon.
