Parken am besten am Ortsausgang in Richtung Lauterbach auf früherem Junghans-Parkplatz.
Der anschließende Anstieg auf einem nicht asphaltierten Waldweg ist sehr steil und erfordert etwas Kondition. Die landschaftliche Schönheit der sich anschließenden Strecke entschädigt für diese Mühe.
