Stupenda escursione su bellissimo sentiero abbastanza ripido. In una limpida e calda giornata estiva, l'ombra del bosco ci ha protetti da ulteriori affaticamenti. All'arrivo nel Piazzale principe del Piemonte a quota di circa 1.300 metri, in un paio d'ore si può percorrere con leggeri dislivelli gallerie e sentieri che sono stati luoghi di intensi combattimenti nella grande guerra '15-18.
