Der Weg führt auf der gesamten Strecke zu weiten Teilen über Kopfsteinpflaster - schlecht für Radler, gut für zivilisationsmüde Füße. Es läuft sich deutlich besser als auf Asphalt.
Die Landschaft ist sehr abwechslungsreich, die Wälder bestehen hauptsächlich aus Laubbäumen.
