Die schönsten Seiten des Waldes im Kermeter 
Eichen und Buchen nehmen im Nationalpark Eifel rund 26 und 24 Prozent der Waldfläche ein und sind durchschnittlich 90 Jahre alt. Auf dieser Wanderung durch den Kermeter können Sie allerdings auch schon einmal auf 250 Jahre alte Exemplare treffen. Beachten Sie, dass Sie auch abgestorbene Bäume sehen werden, denn Sie gehören zu jeder intakten Waldgesellschaft. Dieses Totholz ist schließlich ein äußerst wichtiger Lebensraum für Pflanzen und Tiere wie Insekten und Spechte. Diese Tour kann ebenfalls abgekürzt werden. Streckenlänge dann nur noch 7, 5 km. In disem Falle folgen Sie T 2 kurz.
