Vom Bahnhof Herzogenrath geht es leicht bergab und anschließend steil bergauf nach Kerkrade. Die Rundfahrt durch das Umland ist hügelig und abwechselungsreich. Am Ende der Tour geht es steil bergab wieder nach Herzogenrath.
