Take the road leading from Göreme to the Open Air Museum and Ortahisar. About 600m after leaving Göreme village, you will see a sign on the right: "Zemi Valley" (starting point of the gps trail). Follow the dirt road to the South. After 5 min, a sign directs you uphill to the left to El Nazar Kilisesi which can be visited (entrance fee). After going back to the road in the valley, you continue to head South. After a while, the road ends and continues into a hiking rail which follows the creek that flows through several tunnels. After about 3 km, you reach a junction where you turn sharp right following the sign to Göreme. Follow the path uphill to the ridge that separates Zemi and Görkündere valley. Hiking signs are destroyed here, so gps is useful! A small path finally leads you downhill to Görkündere valley where you reach a dirt road that takes you North to the starting point.
