La première portion du circuit emprunte des chemins très roulant, allant de laPetite-Pierre à Saverne (c'est une partie de la Traversée du Massif Vosgiens à VTT, circuit 4a et 4b).
Mais sur ce parcours se trouve tout de même de beaux points de vue.
Tandis que le retour de Saverne vers La Petite-Pierre utilise à 90% des single trail, en passant sur de chemins du club vosgiens.
