Start findet auf dem Piazzale Micheangelo, mit herrlichem Blick über Florenz, statt. Nach wenigen km gehts dann bergab in einen Aussenbezrik von Florenz, dann, vorbei a, Palast der Medici, der berühmten Ponte Veccio, weiter am Arno entlang. Nach der Überquerung des Arno in Richtung Stadion der Fiorentina und dann zum 1. Mal in die historische Altstadt von Florenz (Dom ,...). Stadtauswärts durch einen Park m Arno entlang und dann zurück, wieder durch die Altstadt zum Ziel am Piazza Santa Croce.
