Die Auffahrt beginnt mit sehr steilen Anstiegen auf asphaltierten Straßen. Ab den Liftanlagen des Kaltenbacher Skigebietes geht es auf gut befestigten Straßen zur Bergstation auf 2385 m. Die Anstiege der letzten 2 Kilometer setzen dann noch eins drauf, z. Teil bis 22% Steigung. Belohnt werden die Strapazen durch gigantische Blicke auf das Zillertal und Hochfügen. Die gut 18 Km lange Abfahrt ist problemlos, da es ausnahmslos sehr gut ausgebaute Schotterstraßen sind.
