Die Tour startet beim Gasthaus in Kalteck. Nach einem gut beschilderten Aufstieg wartet am Gipfel ein steinerner Aussichtsturm, von dem aus man bei schönem Wetter über weite Teile Niederbayerns sehen kann. Der Aufstieg ist Sommer wie Winter möglich.
Eine Alternative mit dem Mountainbike führt über Platzl und Ödwies zum Gipfel.
