Die Wanderung von der Breitlahnhütte bis zum Schwarzensee und zur Putzentalalm ist 12,3 km lang und hat nur 312 Höhenmeter. Wem das zu lang ist, der spaziert nur die 7 km und 130 Höhenmeter bis zum malerischen Schwarzensee. Es gibt 5 Almhütten. Die Breitlahnhütte am Ausgangspunkt mit Nächtigungsmöglichkeit für ca. 20 Personen, die Harmeralm und die Jausen Station Schwarzenseealm beim Schwarzensee bzw. die Putzentalalm und die Ringdorferhütte am Ende dieser leichten Wanderung. Wenn man auf der Forststraße bleibt sind feste Wanderschuhe nicht erforderlich.
