Vom Berggasthof Almhütte laufen wir uns auf einem zunächst flachen Forstweg ein. Dieser wird allmälich steiler und mündet in den serh schönen Steig durchs gelbe Gewänd, der uns zur Stepbergalm führt. Hier geht es über die Sonnenterasse weiter in den letzten Anstieg zur Kramerspitz. Der Abstieg ist zunächst steil, mündet dann aber in flachere Serpentinen, die uns an der St. Martinshütte vorbei zurück zum Ausgangspunkt führen.
