Die Tour folgt weitgehend der gut ausgeschilderten Wasser.Wander.Welt-Tour "Birgeler Urwald" (Wegzeichen siehe Titelfoto) und führt in einer Runde auf schmalen Wegen durch den sehr schönen Birgeler Urwald zum alten Wallfahrtsort Birgeler Pützchen und zurück zur Naturschutzstation Haus Wildenrath.

Von der A52 Ausfahrt 3 (Niederkrüchten) kommend die neu ausgebaute B221 Richtung Wassenberg bis zum Ende des Ausbaus fahren. Dort rechts ab bis zum Kreisverkehr, dann erste Ausfahrt rechts (Heinsberger Straße) und erste links "Auf dem Kirchkamp" (weißes Hinweisschild zum Haus Wildenrath. Wo die Straße eine Rechtskurve macht geradeaus auf den Wanderparkplatz.
