Die Wanderung führt vorwiegend durch Wald, vorbei an bewirtschafteten Fischteichen und entlang eines abwechslungsreichen Bachlaufes.
Einkehrmöglichkeit bietet dabei die Blockhütte, ein Ausflugs-Restaurant mit guter lokaler Küche.
