Strecke: Zell am Ziller - Aschau im Zillertal - Stummerberg - Kapaunsalm - Kreuzjoch - Kreuzjochhütte - Rosenalm/Kreithütte - Rohrberg - Zell am Ziller
Achtung: Über den Stummerberg kann man bis zur "Talstation" des Kapaunssesselliftes (2100 Meter) problemlos über Forststrassen und Wege aufsteigen. Danach gibt es eine Schiebe- bzw. Tragestrecke von ca. 200 Höhenmetern auf das Kreuzjoch. Die Steigung beträgt ca. 50%. In den Karten ist zwar eine Rote Piste eingezeichnet, meiner Meinung nach ist das eher eine Schwarze Piste.
Um zur Kreuzjochhütte zu gelangen, ohne das Joch zu überqueren, muss man sich - bei ca. 1940 Meter - nach der Kapaunsalm, rechts halten und den befahrbaren Weg ca. 500m unterhalb des Jochs nehmen.
