Von Böheimkirchen geht es in Richtung Hegerberg. Nach einer teilweise relativ steilen Auffahrt durch den Wald, geht es oben angekommen eine Weile gemütlich auf und ab, um dann wieder relativ flott über Schotter und zum Teil Asphalt zurück in Richtung Böheimkirchen zu gelangen.
Auf der Strecke sind eine Reihe von Gasthäusern (Hegerberghütte, Wirtshaus zur Luft etc.)
Die Strecke lässt sich auch wunderbar mit der Laabenstrecke kombinieren.
