Eine anstrengende, aber sehr schöne Tour mit einen Traumblick auf die Sextener Dolomiten. Von Sillian über den Radweg nach Winnebach in Südtirol und weiter ins Silvestertal. Von hier über eine alte Militärstraße mit vielen Serpentinen zu einem Sattel, von wo aus man nach einem Abstecher zum Strickberg (höchster Punkt der Tour) zu den alten Militärstellungen am Marchkinkele hochfährt. Ab hier traumhaft weiter zum Hochrast und dann auf einem Steig (kurze Schiebestellen) in Richtung Thurntaler zum Gasthaus Gadein.
