Diese gut markierte Bergtour vom Steirischen Bodensee über den Nordwestgrat auf die Hochwildstelle 2.747m ist 15,7 Kilometer lang und hat insgesamt 1.754 Höhenmeter. Besonders die letzten 400m auf dem Nordwestgrat zum Gipfel der Hochwildstelle sind nicht ganz ungefährlich. Trittsicherheit und Schwindelfreiheit sind dabei unbedingt erforderlich. Für Ungeübte ist die Tour nur bei trockenem Wanderweg und in Begleitung eines erfahrenen Bergführers empfehlenswert.
