Verlauf
Es gibt viele Spuren einer langen Besiedlungsgeschichte in der Region IngolStadtLandPlus: Das Oppidum Manching ist die größte Keltensiedlung nördlich der Alpen. Das Kastell Oberstimm beweist eine Phase intensiver römischer Besetzung. Zeugnisse der Frühgeschichte sind seit 2006 im kelten römer museum in Manching aufbereitet.
Streckenprofil:
Für anspruchsvolle Radfahrer ist alles dabei: ordentliche Steigungen zwischen Rohrbach und Reichertshofen, entspannte Abfahrten von Reichertshofen bis Vohburg; gemütliches Strampeln im Schlussabschnitt. Die Keltentour verläuft überwiegend auf asphaltierten Straßen; nur kurze Abschnitte sind geschottert, dennoch sehr gut befahrbar.
