Ich bin in Solingen unterberg gestartet, dort befindet sich ein großer Parkplatz an der Eschbachstr.
Die Tour führt über unzählige kleiner Pfade, teilweise anspruchsvoll wegen der Felspfade, die im Herbst und Winter und auch bei starken Regen sehr rutschig sein können. Für einen einigermaßen erfahrenen, ausdauernden Wanderer dürfte allerdings hier keine Gefahr bestehen.
