Vom Bahnhof Rheinbrohl, über den Rheinradweg nach Neuwied und Weißenthurm. Von da über den Vulkanparkradweg langsam aufsteigend nach Mayen (schönes weites Tal). Von Mayen über wenig befahrene Straßen durchs herrliche Brohltal zurück nach Brohl. Über den Rheinradweg zur Fähre Bad Breisig. Dort über den Rhein und zurück zum Bahnhof Rheinbrohl. Schöne Radtour mit Einkehrmöglichkeiten. Bis auf ganz kutz Abschnitte über feinen Kies ist alles asphaltiert, also auch für Rennräder geeignet. Ein Abstecher ins Zentrum von Mayen lohnt sich, ist aber mit weitern Höhenmetern (steil) verbunden.
