Diese gemütliche Tour beginnt am Bahnhof Essen-Dellwig oder Essen-Dellwig Ost. Der Weg führt entlang einer Güterzugstrecke, vorbei an einem Schwimmbad über die Kanalbrücke zum Rhein-Herne-Kanal. Ihm folgt man bis zur Schleuse Oberhausen. Nun geht es auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. Diese recht kurze Tour bietet viele Möglichkeiten zum Halten und Schauen: Slinky Springs to Fame („Rehberger-Brücke“), Stadion Rot-Weiß Oberhausen, Schleuse Oberhausen, Kaisergarten, Gasometer, Klettergarten, Centro Park, Gehölzgarten und Haus Ripshorst.
