Von Zeil am Main Richtung Schweinfurt fahren. Auf der B26 , alternativ auf dem Main-Radweg, bis nach Untertheres. Dann rechts ab, hoch nach Gresshausen (Wallfahrtskirche!). Weiter via Waldsachsen-Abersfeld (alternativ ein kurzes Stück über die B303), auf die Bucher-Höhe. Die Windkraftanlagen bestaunen. Die Abfahrt nach Obertheres geniesen. Am Main oder auf der B26 das letzte flache Teilstück nach Zeil geniesen.
