Dieser 5 KM lange Rundweg führt von Osternohe an der Bergstation des Skilifts vorbei. Durch Wiesen und Wälder gelangt man zur Windburg mit schöner Aussicht auf die Burg Hohenstein. Abschluss bildet die tolle Aussicht vom Schloßberg, die bis nach Nürnberg reichen kann. Einkehrmöglichkeit besteht am Ende der Wanderung.
Die Wanderung ist ziemlich abwechslungsreich und Kinder werden sicherlich viel Spaß am Klettern auf den Felsen entlang des Weges haben. Da die Strecke eher kurz ist und auch wenige Höhenmeter zu absolvieren sind, dürften auch kleinere Kinder nicht überfordert werden.
