Abwechslungsreiche aber anstrengende Auffahrt auf der Auffahrt des Marathons nach San Giovanni (mit kurzer Schleife auf nettem Felstrail). Nochmal lange Auffahrt zum Monte Casale, zunächst auf bequemem, nicht allzu steilem Schotterweg. Nach der Malga Val Bona Bergpfad mit längerer Schiebepassage, anschließend herrlicher Trail direkt an der Hangkante entlang. Dann noch mal eine Schiebepassage auf grobem Schotter und zuletzt auf sehr steilem Schotter- und Betonweg bis zum Rifugio Zio und weiter auf den tollen Grasrücken des Monte Casale.
Abfahrt zunächst auf gleicher Route zurück, dann kurzes Stück auf schönem Singletrail. Zwischenanstieg auf Schotter und Abfahrt auf Karrenpfad und Schotter bis kurz vor San Giovanni. Weitere Abfahrt auf der Fahrstraße mit kurzem Abzweig auf eine Geröllpiste der Marathonstrecke.
