Start in der Glockenstadt Gescher im schönen Münsterland.
Der Weg führt auf festen Wirtschaftswegen durch das nordwestliche Münsterland bis hin zur Stadt Velen. Dort sehen wir das alte Schloss und fahren weiter zu einem alten Sägewerk. Hier besteht die Möglichkeit einer Besichtigung.
Unterwegs finden sich viele Schutzhütten und Sitzbänke, um eine gemütliche Rast einzulegen.
In beiden Städten ist für das leibliche Wohl gesorgt, es gibt Restaurants, Eisdielen und Gaststätten.

Gescher ist gut erreichbar über die A31, Abfahrt Gescher/Coesfeld. Dann den Wegweistern in Richtung Gescher folgen. Das Zentrum liegt ca. 3 km von der Autobahnabfahrt entfernt.
