Die Tour startet am Bahnhof in Waldkirch. Von dort geht es durch das Elztal bis nach Elzach. In Elzach geht es in ein Tal Richtung Weinersberg und an einer Abzweigung nach rechts Richtung Illenberg. Der MTB Beschilderung folgend geht es dann Richtung Kreuzmoos und weiter auf den Hünersedel (Aussichtssturm). Ab dem Hünersedel beginnt eine technisch anspruchsvolle Abfahrt nach Freiamt. Über Sexau geht es schließlich zurück nach Waldkirch.
