2 Tage: Von Nürnberg nach Regensburg
1. Tag : ca 63 km
Vom Nürnberger Hauptbahnhof durch die Stadt zum Ludwig- Donau-Main-Kanal (5 Flüsse Tour) und ab Unterölsbach den Schweppermannradweg über Lauterhofen nach Kastl. Bei Bräunertshof befindet sich der höchste Punkt der Tour.
2. Tag: ca. 66 km
Von Kastl das Lauterach-, Vils- und Naabtal hinunter bis Regensburg.
Die Wege waren gut ausgebaut, nur zwischen Sindlbach und Brenzenwang gibt es z. T. unbefestigte Waldwege . Die Landschaft am Kanal (Mittelfranken) wird durch flache Kieferwälder bestimmt, während in der Oberpfalz ab Sindlbach Laubwälder und Täler dominieren.
Von Regensburg fahren Regionalzüge direkt nach Nürnberg.
