Vom Langlaufparkplatz an der Rusel geht es Richtung Bischofsmais und auf den Geisskopf. Ab dem Landshuter Haus geht's bergab auf einem Trail der Teils in einem Bachbett verläuft in Richtung Wühnriedmühle. Ab hier geht es stetig bergauf Richtung Ruselparkplatz.
