Diese leichte bis mittelschwere Wanderung beginnt am Bahnhof in Bad Dürkheim und endet am Bahnhof in Deidesheim.
Nachdem man den Bahnhofvorplatz in Bad Dürkheim überquert hat, stößt man auch schon auf die ersten Wegezeichen des „Pfälzer Weinsteigs“, den man gut folgen kann. Die Kennzeichnung ist sehr gut.
Ausrüstung: normale Wanderausrüstung, Verpflegung und Getränke.
Optional: Wanderstöcke.
