Diese schöne leichte Wanderung beginnt am Bahnhof in Scheurfeld/Sieg und endet am Bahnhof Grünebacherhütte. (Nicht verwirren lassen, es gibt 2 Bahnhöfe fast nebeneinander. Alsfeld und Grünebacherhütte).
Am Bahnhof findet man direkt die Zubringerzeichen „gelb mit weißer Schlangenlinie“, denen man folgt, bis sie durch die Zeichen „blau mit weißer Schlangenlinie“ ersetzt werden. Kurz vor Alsfeld sollte man wieder den gelben Zubringerzeichen folgen.
Ausrüstung: normale Wanderausrüstung, Verpflegung und Getränke.
Optional: Wanderstöcke.
