This was my absolut favourite evening tour on Elba. Short, genious trails, genius view.

Starting at camping scaglieri, go up the street and enjoy the view on Biodola beach. On the junction to the main road to Portoferraio take the steep road up passing a restaurant on your left side. Enjoy the quiet track with nice view to Portoferraio. On top of the track dont miss the entrance to the first genious trail on the left side. It first goes up and down. Then you meet track No. 52, a perfect flow trail down to Punta Penisola. With a wide grinn on your face you will arrive at the junction of trail No 52 and Trail No 49. Now turn right to Viticcio, another genius and fast flowtrail. Later you will have to go up the same trail again.

In Viticcio you have to carry your bike down a view steps and then you have to go trough a restaurant. It doesn't look like a public way but it is. From Viticcio to Enfola you go aon the public road and you have nice views again.

In Enfola take the Track up to the Mount Enfola. On top keep left and enter the quiet difficult trail around the peak (clockwise). Last part of the track you have to carry the bike a view meters. Then go down again the same track you went up. Please drive slow and carefully in respect to the pedestrians.

Go back to Viticcio and to the junction with Path No 51 on the way you already know. When you meet the Path No 51 on the Punta Penisola, continue straight on Path 49 down to Forno. This part of the tour is quite difficult to drive but it is possible. At the end of the trail you have to pass a boom.

Now it is just about 1 km on the public road to your starting point.
