Kultur und Natur in Mittelfranken
Das Ziel dieser Tour war es viele sehenswerten Orte auf einer Tour zu verbinden.
Vom Bahnhof Triesdorf ging es über Merkendorf und Wolframs-Eschenbach wieder zurück zum Bahnhof und weiter über Weidenbach, Ornbau zum Altmühlstausee. Hier besteht neben der Bademöglichkeit die Besichtung des Naturschutgebietes "Vogelfreistätte Flachwasser- und Inselzone im Altmühlsee" . Gunzenhausen, Weißenburg, Ellingen sind weitere sehenswerte Städte.
Meistens wird auf verkehrsarmen Nebenstraße gefahren.
Bahnanschlüsse bestehen in Murr am See, Gunzenhausen, Weißenburg, Ellingen und Pleinfeld.
