Wir starten unsere Tour am Bahnhof von Unterammergau und gehen über den Weiherweg auf den Feuchtrainweg. Mit weitem Blick auf die Ammergauer Berge gelangen wir so auf die Romanshöhe zum Berggasthof, wo wir eine gute Brotzeit bekommen. Von hier aus haben wir einen herrlichen Blick auf die Bergmassive von Laber, Kofel und die Kette bis zum Pürschling. Jetzt geht es schon wieder bergab Richtung Oberammergau. Bald kommt man an eine Abbiegung nach links auf den Altherrenweg. Im Schnitzlergraben biegen wir nach rechts ab und wandern über freie Hänge hinab in den Ort. Wir kommen auf die Dorfstrasse, überqueren auf der Bahnhofstrasse die Ammer und gelangen so an unser Ziel, den Bahnhof von Oberammergau.
