Von der Bergstation gehen wir hinauf zum Onkeljoch, durchwandern den folgenden Bergsattel und kommen über Serpentinen zur Gart Alm. Durch Latschen und Grünerlen geht es leicht abwärts in einen lichten Wald hinein. Am Loarssattel geht es wieder leicht Bergan, bis es an der Maschentalalm hinab nach Hochfügen geht.
