Die Strecke startet in München Schawbing, raus über Pasing und Gräfelfing Richtung Ammersee. Es gilt die alte Regel, je weiter man sich von der Stadt entfernt, desto schöner und hügeliger wirds. Es geht um den Ammersee herum, bei Meidung der größeren Straßen, sofern dies möglich ist. Die Anfahrt zur Ammerseeumrundung ist auch die Abfahrt derselben, läßt sich also schön 'cruisen'.
