Los geht es bei sportwear-blitz in Roßbach, Hauptstraße und führt meist über gut ausgebaute Waldwege nach Höchstenbach - Wied und dann durch den Wald in Richtung Hachenburg. Weiter immer über gut ausgebaute Waldweg bis zur Alpenroder Hütte. Dort empfiehlt sich eine Pause (kleine Kneipe mit schöner Aussicht). Anschließend fährt man über Steinebach dann an der Wied entland wieder über Höchstenbach zurück nach Roßbach.

A 3 bis Dierdorf. Kurz hinter Dierdorf links ab in Richtung Puderbach, dann nach ca. 200 m rechts ab in Richtung Elgert, Roßbach. Start ist in der Hauptstraße in Roßbach.
