Vom Parkplatz Pfarrau startet die Runde flach nach Westen Richtung Schwarzsee. Bei der Zugstation Schwarzsee kreuzt die Strecke die Bahn sowie die Bundesstraße und führt immer im Wald bzw. am Waldrand in wechselndem Auf und Ab Richtung Osten. Nach einem kurzen Steilstück gelangt man auf die freien Wiesen im Zielhang der legendären Streif-Abfahrt, die man weiterhin Richtung Osten quert. Weiter geht´s hinunter zur Hahnenkamm-Talstation und das letzte Stück parallel zur Stadtrunde zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.
