This is a real climbing route for cycle-racing. Particularly the Hinsbecker and Süchtelner Höhen we use for training purpose, to practice our climbing techniques and cycling power. The route is rural, while the road conditions are pretty good. It encloses a lot of climbing loops you can choose multiple times if you want. It will then bring you back to the main track crossings. It is really a gorgeous and quiet route!

Start and finish is in Venlo, counter-clock-wise. From Venlo, you head to the south-east. You quickly find yourself at the German border. At the Hinsbecker and Süchtelner Höhen, the road is rural, very hilly and quiet.
The last 20km to Straelen and back to Venlo, the track is flat, to cool down a bit. If you are only interested in the hilly part, you can skip the finish.
