Sehr schöne kurze Runde auf Anfangs Asphaltstraßen von Orciatico Richtung Lajatico. Kurz vor Lajatico verläßt man die Strasse bei dem Wegweiser zum Rocca Pietracassia und folgt diesem erst noch auf einem kleinen Asphaltweg - später auf Schotter, am Ende auf einem Trail immer aufwärts bis zu der verfallenen Burg. Die Rückfahrt findet über die selbe Strecke wie die Hinfahrt statt.
Kleine Tour in der ansonsten eher unerschlossenen Gegend von Volterra in der Toscana. eigentliches MTB Gebiet sind die Gebiete um das Chianti und die Maremma.
