Die Tour beginnt in Ilsenburg am Parkplatz Blochauer und führt über den Ilsestein,Waldgasthaus Plessenburg, Sonnenklippe wieder in das Ilsetal, noch ein kleines Stück in Richtung Stempelsbuche und dann auf dem Heinrich-Heine-Weg über die Ilsefälle zurück zum Parkplatz. Die reine Wanderzeit beträgt ca. 4,5 h.
