Nach Aufstieg nach Knaufpesch über Bundesstraße gute ruhige Kammstraße überwiegend durch Fichtenwald, vorbei an "Prüm Air Station" = alte milit. Fernmaldestation, dem "wilden Mann" und dem Radiosender auf schönen Walzerkurven hinunter nach Hontheim und weiter Richtung Stausee. Der 3,5 km Aufstieg nach Knaufpesch über einen unbefestigten, aber langsam fahrbaren Waldweg.
